We’re past the half-way point of the year and seeing a lot of growth in our dancers. With a focus on memorizing sequences, our dancers are learning how to learn, one of the many life skills they can hone on the dance floor.
Parents and caregivers will get to see their dancer’s growth during our second trimester watch week, February 10-15. Please scroll for some tips if this is your first watch week. Our third and final trimester begins Monday, February 24. Please look for an invoice in your inbox the week of February 10.
This month there are no classes on Monday, February 17 in honor of Presidents Day.
Picture day is Saturday, March 8. Below you will find your assigned time, as well as a LINK to register for your account prior to picture day. This is a new procedure and will streamline ordering and delivery. Scott Martinez will take individual pictures on this day, and he will take group pictures at the May 3 dress rehearsal.
Both our Tiny Toes and Frozen Camp are waitlisted, but we are thrilled to announce our summer program is open for registration! Scroll down for the schedule and links to registration. Classes fill fast, and our website isn’t yet updated with our 2025 information, so please feel free to share the link directly with any friends who want to sign up right away.
We’ve also got a new offering for grown-ups! If you’ve ever wanted to try tap, now’s your opportunity! Tap dancing is not only great for fitness, but it’s also a fantastic way to challenge your coordination and rhythm. No experience needed—Angie will guide you through every step. Scroll down for the link to register!
Also for adults, Stephanie is teaching a gentle yoga class on Sunday, March 4 at 4:00. All donations will go to Paula Atkinson’s fundraiser for cancer research. All are welcome! More information below.
This month we’re also sharing a couple of things happening in the community: Gonzaga’s Dance Team Kids Clinic is February 15, and KSPS PBS is hosting Future Day on February 22 (Be sure to visit Miss Stephanie’s booth and find out what it takes to be a ballet teacher!).
